It was a massive
project. It involved literature for two separate symposiums that were
to be held at 17 different locations over a four month period. With
three weeks remaining before the first scheduled mailing, the original
vendor notified Ann that they needed six weeks to get just the first
phase completed. Since commitments had been made, revising symposium
dates and sites was not possible.
LFA resolved the dilemma
by redesigning the literature to make it more flexible, rewriting
copy to allow broader use of the front piece, and creating separate
inserts for each location showing times and location maps. This allowed
more efficient production, and, despite overtime, the whole project
was completed on time and under the original budget.
